GEORGE NAYLOR SCHOLARSHIP

The scholarship will be awarded to a deserving senior who has demonstrated dedication to the instrumental music program throughout high school, and who will be dedicated to instrumental music at an institution of higher learning.  The scholarship is a one time award of five hundred dollars that will be sent in the students name directly to the college or to the University of the Student’s Choice. The award will be applied directly to the student’s tuition or fees (books, etc.).

Typically the scholarship of $500.00 is given to a senior pursuing music education or performing in college ensembles. The requirement for application is a student resume and essay of what music or the Valley Center Band Program has meant to the student.
